As part of Blizzard's marketing for the release of Diablo IV Blood Harvest, the company is holding a blood drive for fans. The goal is (naturally) 666 quarts of donated blood. Once that achievement is unlocked, a competition will begin for a custom liquid-cooled gaming PC that is "infused with real human blood."
"Yep, REAL human blood," the Wesbsite states. "This PC is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090, an Intel Core i9-13900K, 64 GB of DDR5 RAM, 3 TB Gen5 NVMe M.2 SSD storage, and comes in a signature Diablo red/black color palette with custom Season of Blood graphics."
Of course, it's not clear what "infused" actually means but it's still a bloody good idea for a promotional campaign!
It reminds me of Marvel Comics' 1977 comic book about the band KISS that used red ink from a barrel into which the band members had mixed in vials of their blood.
