Fond of discussing characters from his favorite movie, The Silence of the Lambs, it sounds like Trump missed the discussion of tariffs in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
Everyone should feel confident that the President of the United States has a firm grasp on the history surrounding his key economic policy, right? Right?
Oh, well. At least the convicted felon has transportation covered in California. If traffic is perfect and you only stop one for gas, it takes about 1-2 hours more time to drive from San Francisco to Los Angeles, as it does to fly there, if you take into account travel time to and from the airports, and navigating the TSA/ticketing bullshit. Cars do not fall out of the sky, but any delays in either method can be astronomical. The main routes between Southern and Northern California are narrow and prone to congestion, often resulting in nasty crashes in the fog.
