Nicki Minaj asks fake Trump account for honorary citizenship

An apparently confused Nicki Minaj begged a Trump parody account for "honorary citizenship" on Tuesday night, saying, "Dear Papi Trumpo, Please, grant me honorary citizenship."

Minaj is a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago.

Minaj's support stems from Trump designating Nigeria as "a country of particular concern" due to Islamist attacks against Christians there. She expressed "deep sense of gratitude" for his acknowledgment of the issue on social media.

The rapper also recently endorsed Elon Musk, reposting a video of him with the caption "Speak Elon, we're listening" and later adding "This man is speaking facts. Protect him at all costs."

Fans responded with confusion and criticism to her political statements. One wrote, "Nicki Minaj really managed to disappoint me over and over again since last year. Sometimes her choices and the way she acts are just insane. Supporting Donald Trump is crazy."

Another fan suggested her toddler son should "unplug the Wi-Fi before it's too late."

The reactions highlight the divide among her followers over her recent political endorsements, with many expressing shock at her public support for both Trump and Musk.
