A lunatic mob — aka House Republicans — turned on an ABC News reporter yesterday, explosively booing and heckling her for simply doing her job.
During a press conference held by Mike Johnson — the fourth nominee after 22 days without a House Speaker — congressional correspondent Rachel Scott tried to ask if he "helped lead the effort to overturn the 2020 election result."
But before she could even finish her question, his Republican colleagues, who were all smushed together around Johnson, desperately vying for the spotlight, eerily exploded in unison. "Boo!! Shut up!! Shut up!!" The only things missing from the picture were the pitchforks — and a House speaker, of course. (See video below, posted by Acyn.)
