Teenagers recreate Toy Story 3 using stop-motion animation

Brothers Morgan and Mason McGrew were teenagers when they embarked on an 8-year-quest to remake Toy Story 3. The full length movie is on YouTubeand according to Gizmodo the project has Disney's blessing.

From Gizmodo:

If you’re interested in how the McGrew brothers actually made this fan film happen, you can head over to their Facebook page which features a series of behind the scenes looks at what went into their amateur production which started back in 2011. The British website Joe also published a fascinating interview with the brothers last year after the trailer for their film was released back in June of 2019. Be forewarned, though, it might leave you questioning how you spent your teenage years. The McGrews aren’t going to rake in billions of dollars from their fan film—that would certainly have Disney changing its mind about giving its blessing—but there’s little doubt this pair is going to be embraced by Hollywood, assuming they’re now not sick of filmmaking.

"Toy Story" sneakers: One foot gets Woody, the other Buzz

Woody and Buzz's friendship catchphrase -- "The important thing is that we stick together!" -- becomes quite literal in these new mismatched "Toy Story 4" sneakers. You get one shoe fashioned after Sheriff Woody and the other after Buzz Lightyear.

Reebok collaborated with Pixar and BAIT on this limited-edition Instapump Fury model in anticipation of the film's release. No word on when they drop or their cost.

For Sale: Fan-made Pizza Planet pickup, like the one in 'Toy Story' and other films

If you're a Disney-Pixar superfan, this $2500 pickup truck is a solid investment. A fan from Colorado recreated the Pizza Planet pickup from Toy Story (which has also made several cameos in other Disney-Pixar films) and now has to sell his sweet, sweet banana yellow ride. His loss, your gain.

The truck runs and handles a bit rough. Its very hard to part with, but it needs to go. Looking for $2500. Make me an offer, but please don't insult me. Lots of my own work went into the exterior.

You know you want it: 1983 Toyota Pickup (Pizza Planet) - $2500 (Highlands Ranch)

Toddlers connected in clever 'Slinky Dog' costume

A Toy Story-lovin' dad connected two toddlers, his son Hamm and his niece Audrey, to make this cute and clever Slinky Dog costume.

Tucker Bohman, aka @ToyStoryDad, enlisted the help of his wife to get the babies' costume together for Disneyland's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

He writes:

When we decided to go to Mickey’s Halloween Party at @Disneyland as Toy Story characters I knew immediately that I wanted the babies to be Slinky Dog! It took several months of brainstorming and planning to bring my vision to life. Thanks to all of the family who helped us figure out how to pull it off! ??

Fans making a shot-by-shot live-action version of Toy Story 3

Wow, there's a shot-by-shot live-action remake of Toy Story 3 in the works. Brothers Morgan and Mason McGrew (who are self-proclaimed Disney/Pixar fanatics) are directing the piece which is due out in 2019. They've just released its trailer and it looks amazing!

For way too many years now, my brother and I (with the support of our awesome family and friends) have been working on a shot-for-shot recreation of Toy Story 3. This project has been an incredible undertaking, and we've made the decision to have this complete by 2019. At this time, I'm not quite sure what a release will look like, but I do know that this has to be done by next year. We're both pursuing college and full-time careers right now, and it's time to wrap this side-project up.
